Collected by Tom Vella-Zarb [Please e-mail me your comments] Fr Joseph Delia was a Jesuit Priest who lived from 1900 to 1980. "Patri Ġuże Delia" as he is popularly known in Mata, was a prolific writer of Maltese poetry [besides writing in Latin, Greek, and Spanish]. Notably amongst which are several Legends in poetry in Maltese. My sincere thanks to my good friend Paul Vella, and the family of Kavalier Attard, who have provided me with the voice for some of these legends.
